I've visited my grandmother for two days on the occasion of her 89th birthday on Tuesday. Neither my parents nor any relatives and friend where she lives were around, so he she was very happy that at least I made it. There was more traffic than I expected, so I arrived quite late and we decided not to go out for dinner. Instead, we emptied a bottle of red wine together over the evening and had a very nice conversation. On Wednesday, Oma cooked my favourite dish for lunch. It is always so nice to visit her, she is probably the kindest person I ever got to know.

Tuesday night, after she went to bed, I worked a bit and then watched 'Sex in the city' for the first time. Enjoying it big time, I can understand the hype a bit better now. It really is a nice TV series I should watch more often.
